Director Danny Boyle – best known for directing gritty grown-up movies like Shallow Grave and Trainspotting – delivered his first family film here, a fun tale of two young brothers, seven-year-old Damian (Etel) and nine-year-old Anthony (Lewis McGibbon), who find the loot from a bank robbery and then realise that, because the cash is in pounds sterling, they only have a week to spend it before Britain converts to the Euro.

Fantastical in places (one of the duo has saintly visions and believes the money is from God), funny throughout, this boasts two terrific child performances from Alex Etel and Lewis McGibbon and nice support from James Nesbitt as their dad.
