The Super Mario Bros. Movie – final trailer!

It’s only a few weeks until the Super Mario Bros. Movie comes to cinemas, and Universal Pictures have released a new trailer while we are imaptiently waiting.

As you’d expect from an animated movie from Nintendo and Illumination, it looks like we are in for a colourful, fast-paced treat as Brooklyn plumbers Mario and Luigi are transported down a mysterious pipe and find themselves in a magical new world. However, the pair soon get separated and it is Mario to the rescue – with the help of the Mushroom Kingdom’s Toad and Princess Peach.

Chris Pratt, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Anya Taylor Joy, Charlie Day and Seth Rogen are among those providing the voices for iconic characters like Mario, Princess Peach and bad guy Bowser.

Mario fans will notice lots of references to the games – from Rainbow Road to the inclusion of Donkey Kong and Cranky Kong – and will no doubt be counting the days until the movie’s release on April 5th.
