New trailer for The Secret Garden
Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic children’s novel The Secret Garden has been adapted for the big screen once more, in a new version starring Colin Firth and Julie Walters.
This time, the story is set in 1947, as young Mary (Dixie Egerickx) is sent from her home in India back to England following the death of her parents. Her new home is a remote country estate in Yorkshire, Misselthwaite Manor, where her uncle (Firth), sickly cousin Colin (Edan Hayhurst) and housekeeper Mrs Medlock (Walters) live, and it is there Mary discovers a wondrous garden in the grounds.
