Four Kids And It trailer is here!

As many parents (and some children) will know, Five Children And It was E. Nesbit’s story about five children who discover a strange creature called a Psammead, who is a sand fairy who can grant wishes. The story continued in two more Nesbit books before Helen Cresswell continued the tale in another story in 1992.

Younger children, however, will no doubt know about the psammead from Jacqueline Wilson’s 2012 book, Four Kids And It, in which four contemporary kids come across the creature, and this is the version that has been adapted for Sky Cinema’s new movie, that will be released in cinemas, on Sky Cinema and NOW TV in the UK on April 10th.

Starring Matthew Goode, Paula Patton and Russell Brand, the movie features Michael Caine as the voice of the grumpy psammead.
