First trailer for Minions 2: The Rise Of Gru!

It’s time for fans of those cute yellow minions to celebrate, as a sequel to Minions is coming to cinemas this summer.

Set in the 1970s, the movie has a young Gru (Steve Carell) growing up in the suburbs. He’s a fan of a supervillain group known as the Vicious 6, and hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them – with the help of his minions, of course.

When the Vicious 6 oust their leader, Wild Knuckles (Alan Arkin), Gru interviews for the job but things don’t quite go as planned…

The new Minions movie also features the voice talent of Taraji P Henson, Michelle Yeoh, RZA, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren and Julie Andrews and is released in UK cinemas on July 10th and in the US on July 3rd.
