A sci-fi animated adventure for younger viewers, this cute but forgettable tale has butch, heroic (and blue-skinned) alien astronaut Scorch Supernova (Fraser) sent on a mission to a dangerous, hostile planet (can you guess which one?). Captured on his arrival and imprisoned with a gaggle of quirky fellow aliens, Scorch can only be rescued by one person – his nerdy, scrawny and very reluctant brother Gary (Corddry).

While there is nothing new or unpredictable about this cartoon, it’s cute enough and zips along at a good pace. Brightly coloured, about as scary as a bowl of custard, and with a not-too-cloying message (anyone can be a hero), this is perfect for little ones not quite ready for scarier aliens just yet.
