The Railway Children Return – first trailer

A sequel to the 1970 children’s classic movie (that was based on the E Nesbit book), The Railway Children Return is set in 1944 as three children – Lily, Pattie and Ted – are evacuated from Salford to the Yorkshire village of Oakworth.

They are met by Bobbie Waterbury (Jenny Agutter, returning to her role from the original movie), her daughter Annie (Sheridan Smith) and grandson Thomas, who help the evacuees settle into their new life in the countryside, but things take a perilous turn when the children befriend an injured American soldier who is hiding out in the rail yard at Oakworth station.

The movie is set to be released in UK cinemas on July 15th, and here is the trailer:
