First trailer for The Kid Who Would Be King

Writer/director Joe Cornish’s family adventure The Kid Who Would Be King is coming to UK cinemas on February 15, 2019 and tells the story of Alex, an average London boy who finds that mythical sword in the stone, Excalibur. He has to unite both his friends and enemies with the help of legendary wizard Merlin to take on the wicked enchantress Morgana in this modern take on the infamous story.

Louis Ashbourne Serkis (son of Andy Serkis) stars as Alex, alongside Sir Patrick Stewart as Merlin and Rebecca Ferguson as Morgana. Here’s the first poster and trailer:
