New Comic Con trailers for Shazam! Aquaman and Godzilla II

Lots of trailers for upcoming movies received their debut showing at Comic Con in San Diego over the weekend, and here are three of the most anticipated, for Shazam!, Aquaman and Godzilla II: King Of The Monsters…

Shazam! is the story of 14-year-old Billy Batson (Asher Angel), who turns into a super hero (Zachary Levi) every time he shouts the word ‘Shazam!’ Of course, being a teenager, Billy just wants to have fun with his superpowers but he’ll need a hero’s dedication when it is time to face the evil controlled by Dr Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong). The movie opens in April 2019.

 

 

Meanwhile, Aquaman is the origin story of the half human, half Atlantean Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) known as Aquaman. The film also stars Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren and Nicole Kidman. The movie opens on December 14th.

 

Finally, we have the first official trailer for Godzilla II: King Of The Monsters. Pitting Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history, the movie stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Charles Dance and Stranger Things’ Millie Bobbie Brown in her feature film debut. The movie will be in cinemas in 2019.
