Grease’s Danny and Sandy… 34 years later

 

 

It’s a whopping 34 years since John Travolta’s Danny and Olivia Newton John’s Sandy rose through the clouds in their car at the end of the movie Grease. Since then, the movie has become a kitsch classic, beloved by generations, and even people who have never seen the movie know the words to ‘Greased Lightning’, ‘Summer Lovin’ and ‘You’re The One That I Want’.

So have you ever wondered what happened to Danny and Sandy after they flew into the sunset? You now have an answer as John Travolta and Olivia Newton John have teamed up to make a Christmas album, and have released a single for charity called ‘I Think You Might Like It’, written by John Farrar (who also wrote ‘You’re The One That I Want’). And the video has the two of them playing lovebirds – sort of. It’s kinda cute, but also unintentionally hilarious, bless them…
