Kids who liked Part I will get a few giggles from this so-so sequel to 2002’s hit ScoobyDoo. The gang – Shaggy, Daphne, Fred, Velma and dim-witted dog Scooby-Doo – are at the opening of a museum dedicated to their crime-solving exploits when one of the exhibits comes back to life to terrorise the crowd. What could be going on?
With Alicia Silverstone joining the cast as a journalist investigating the gang, Seth Green as the museum’s creator and the wonderful Peter Boyle as Old Man Wickles, this does have a few things to recommend it. It’s not great, by any stretch of the imagination, but perhaps not as awful as it could have been.

Nothing here should scare the over-8s.
