New Pinocchio movie coming to cinemas

A new live action take on the classic fairy tale, Matteo Garrone’s Pinocchio is being released in UK cinemas from August 14th, with previews from August 10th.

The story is, of course, about an old woodcarver named Gepetto (Roberto Benigni) who creates a puppet who magically comes to life. Gepetto raises Pinocchio as his son, but the wooden child dreams of being a real boy and faces troubles and adventures in his journey. The movie also stars Marine Vacth as the Fairy and Federico Ielapi as Pinocchio.
