First trailer for Connected

Producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who were behind the brilliant Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and The LEGO Movie, have revealed a first look at the animated comedy Connected, coming later this year.

Directed by Gravity Falls’ Mike Rianda, it’s the story of a family road trip that goes wrong when there is a tech uprising and all those wonderful gadgets like phones and appliances – and a new range of robots – decide it is time for them to take over.

Abbi Jacobson voices teen Katie Mitchell, who has just been accepted to the film school of her dreams, while her parents Rick and Linda are voiced by Danny McBride and Maya Rudolph.
