Trailer catch up: Peter Rabbit 2, Jungle Cruise and Dolittle!

There are lots of family movies to look forward to next year, and we’ve collected together sneak peaks of three of the biggest for you here.

First, here’s Jungle Cruise, based on the Disney park ride, that has Jesse Plemons, Emily Blunt, Jack Whitehall and Dwayne Johnson travelling on a river boat through a dangerous – and supernatural – jungle. The movie is due for release in July 2020.

Meanwhile, Robert Downey Jr is the lead in a new adaptation of the classic tale of a man who can talk to animals – Dolittle. In this version, Dr John Dolittle has to sail to a mythical island to find a cure for the ailing Queen Victoria (Jessie Buckley), and it is there he discovers wondrous new creatures. Rami Malek, Octavia Spencer, Kumail Nanjiani and Emma Thompson provide the voices. The movie opens in February 2020.

And finally, that cheeky Peter Rabbit is back for more carrots in the adventure Peter Rabbit 2. This time, Peter decides that his happy life in the garden with his rabbit friend and human ‘owners’ Bea and Thomas (Rose Byrne and Domhnall Gleeson) isn’t enough for him, so he ventures out from garden in search of more excitement. The movie opens in March 2020.
