Back to school? We’d rather go back to Hogwarts…

It’s time for the kids to go back to school, but wouldn’t it be great if that school was Hogwarts?

In the new Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald (in cinemas from November 16th), we finally get to return to the place we all fell in love with in the Harry Potter books and movies, as we see a young Newt learning all about magic at the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry.

Check out this behind-the-scenes featurette, in which Jude Law (who plays young Dumbledore), Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander) and author JK Rowling talk about returning to Hogwarts for the new movie:

In fact, 1st September is celebrated as Back To Hogwarts day, and fans of JK Rowling’s characters who were at London’s Kings Cross station on Saturday morning got an extra special surprise – Fantastic Beasts cast members Jude Law and Eddie Redmayne made a special appearance at the station’s famous Platform 9 3/4 to count down the 11am departure of the Hogwarts Express.

As in previous years, fans of the Harry Potter series gathered in costume to get a photo of themselves pushing a trolley into the wall at the platform (it’s there all year if you are passing through – a half of a trolley sticking out of the wall commemorating JK Rowling’s creation, just by the station’s Harry Potter shop). When they reached the front of the queue for their photo, however, fans got a shock to discover Redmayne and Law helping them on their way!

Here are some clips from the magical morning:
