Christopher Robin – will he be even cuter than Paddington?

 

If you’re a regular reader of Movies4Kids you’ll know we have rather a soft spot for a certain bear from Peru named Paddington, and the two recent movies based on his adventures. We really didn’t think another bear could possibly steal our hearts – that was until we saw the new trailer for Disney’s Christopher Robin.

Featuring not only Winnie The Pooh but also his pals Piglet, Eeyore and – yes! – Tigger, the movie catches up with Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) as an adult, who has all but forgotten the adventures he had in the Hundred Acre Wood. But when Pooh visits him in London, it’s time for him to remember his childhood and go to the rescue when Pooh’s furry pals go missing. But is it really Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet who need help – or is it Christopher himself?

If the trailer is anything to go by, this is going to be an adorably fuzzy tale that stays true to the spirit of A A Milne’s books.

The movie opens in the US on August 3rd and in the UK on August 17th.
