Awwww! First trailer for Christopher Robin

It’s very rare for Movies4Kids to be reduced to tears over a trailer, but the first teaser for Disney’s Christopher Robin did bring on the snuffles because it looks so lovely and features Jim Cummings returning to the screen as the voice of adorable bear Pooh.

Due for release in cinemas this August, the movie picks up the story of Christopher Robin as an adult (as played by Ewan McGregor), married to Evelyn (Hayley Atwell) and with a family of his own.  When things look like they are going badly for poor Christopher, his childhood bear reappears to help him rediscover the joys of life.

Directed by Marc Forster (who made Finding Neverland, about the life of Peter Pan author JM Barrie), the live action movie is based on AA Milne’s famous characters and features Chris O’Dowd as the voice of Tigger, Toby Jones as Owl. Peter Capaldi as Rabbit, Brad Garrett as Eeyore and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.
