Paddington meets Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

That bear from Peru certainly has friends in high places! Today (Monday, 16th October) he met none other than Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at a special event at Paddington Station.

Hosted by StudioCanal with support from BAFTA Kids, the event was for the young beneficiaries of Their Royal Highnesses’ Charities Forum. Guests were welcomed into Paddington Station by Paddington Bear himself, before boarding a Belmond British Pullman train for a journey through the countryside. Lucky guests were treated to a Paddington themed afternoon tea onboard.

Also present at the event were Paddington stars Hugh Bonneville, Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin alongside producer David Heyman and co-writer Simon Farnaby, and Karen Jankel, the daughter of the late Paddington Bear author, Michael Bond.

 

Paddington 2 is released in UK cinemas on November 10th.
