RIP Alan Rickman

 

We’re very sad to hear that Alan Rickman has died, aged 69. He was one of the best movie villains ever as Hans Gruber in Die Hard, then topped that performance with his Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. Grown-ups will, of course, remember him for his superb turns in Truly Madly Deeply and Love Actually, for his movies as a director (The Winter Guest and the recent A Little Chaos) and his stunning stage performances in Les Liaisons Dangereuses and Private Lives.
